we'll see you then. >> i'm waiting for that good advice. i'm thinking positive. thinking positive. it could happen. >> thanks, delia. conned into the world of prostitution. that's what police say happened to some teenage girls in northern virginia. federal investigators say five men linked to a gang called underground gangster crypts in fairfax county were arrested for running a prostitution ring. the suspects allegedly approached girls at school, on the metro, and through facebook and other social networking sites. the victims were allegedly threatened with violence if they didn't work. since the investigation started this past november, at least ten high school girls between the ages of 16 and 18 have been identified as victims. the funeral director who prepared trayvon martin's body for burial says the teen was buried with a gunshot wound to his chest. martin's body didn't show any other injuries or signs he had been in a fight.

george zimmerman says he shot martin in self-defense after the 17-year-old broke his nose and caused him to hit his head on the concrete. zimmerman's arrest didn't appear to show any signs of injuries. parts of barcelona, spain burned well into the night after all day clashes between police and demonstrators. tense of thousands of protesters forced factories to close. they are angry over labor reform laws that would make it easier to fire employees. the spanish government says it's aimed at saving tens of billions of euros. those changes they say are unstoppable. 5:06. time for the latest your money report of the morning. >> jessica doyle is here with a look at the friday mornings. >> good morning. we've had kind after choppy week on wall street. we're still in positive territory when it comes to the major averages as we head into today's trading session. check be the numbers the dow stands this morning at 13,149.

rose 19 points in trading yesterday. nasdaq meantime had a down day. it was off about ten points and the s&p 500 was down by 2. we could be seeing a little relief at the pump coming soon. france's prime minister says there's a good chance the u.s. and europe will agree to release oil reserves introthe market to drive -- into the market to drive down crude oil prices which have been high and driving up gas prices. officials say discussions are continuing and that helped send the price of crude below $103 a barrel to a new six-week low. a local company made a big debut on the new york stock exchange. million lean ya media sells the display ads you see on your cell phone. they sold shares to the public for the first time yesterday with the price starting at 13 bucks a share and ending at about $25. the market is heating up for initial public ourings this spring just -- offerings this spring just weeks before facebook's anticipated massive ipo. >> do they have a date for

beltway, the american legion bridge, a vehicle stopped in the left lane. outer loop heads up as you head down from river road toward tysons across the american legion bridge. that's a look at your drive. another complete look at traffic is coming up in a few minutes. back to you. >> thank you, beverly. making news now at 5:11, five people are under arrest after a major drug trafficking ring between hawaii and california is busted. some of the suspects work for delta airlines. investigators say someone would check a suitcase. after it was screened, someone else would fill it with meth. it would then be picked up after the flight and taken to a hotel in hawaii where hundreds of thousands of dollars would be picked up and flown back to the california supplier. a pennsylvania man taken into custody after trying to board a plane in philadelphia with items that could have made explosives, including a vial with a fuse, a plastic bottle

with explosive powder. the man told authorities he liked to conduct experiments with explosives. he said he forgot the items were in his bag. fire crews are making progress against wildfires that burned acres and acres in colorado and killed two people. the fire is now 45% an obtained but firefighters say the next 24 hours are critical because the winds could be picking up again. some evacuees were allowed to come back to their homes. you heard the story. now you can see it for yourself. what happened when batman was pulled over. >> anny hong will have your full weekend forecast when we return. stay with us.

white who was in jail accused of killing a police officer died. macintosh' case goes to trial next month. [indiscernible] released balloons in the teen's favorite color. the 17-year-old died after collapsing while jogging at school earlier this week. friends remembered her spirit and her dedication to the rotc. her father is struggling to understand why this happened. >> i slept in her bed. i just slept in her bed. i mean, i ask -- [indiscernible] i went through a battery of questions with great spirit. why would you snatch my daughter at a young age. >> her dad who is a neuroscientist says his daughter was in excellent shape and hopes a medical examiner

all out. >> thank you. good luck, delia. 5:35. why don't we talk about money right now. >> jessica who will be coming on wednesdays is back with how workers who make apple products are really being treated. >> we're all in the same pool. we're all hoping we win. go mike, go andrea, go delia. now we're moving on to something a little more serious. apple has been facing a lot of heat about how its contractors treat their workers in china. that's why an independent labor audit has been conducted at the chinese factories where apple products are made. the findings, workers who assemble iphones and ipads often put in more than 60 hours a week and sometimes even more working for a squeak straight. the megafactory fox con says as a result of the findings, it will lower work time to the legal chinese maximum to 49 hours a week and will raise hourly salaries to compensate workers for those reduced hours. sears is considering

selling its lands end brand. it would be part of the retailer's plan to raise as much as $2 billion. the report comes weeks after sears reported a massive fourth quarter loss and unveiled a new turn around plan. in addition to lands end, sears also owns k-mart, kenmore and craftsman. bet networks is jumping into the exploding business of prepaid cards. it's partnering with net spend, one of the biggest prepaid card companies and they hope to reach millions of african- americans who don't use banks. prepaid cards are like debit cards but aren't attached to a checking account and sometimes lack the consumer protections offered by debit and credit cards. the federal reserve says they're the fastest growing method of electronic payments. sometimes a really good deal. sometimes not a really good deal. >> the fine print. >> exactly. we'll be right back.

friday, that looks pretty nice. it will also be dry. our day planner showing temperatures in the 50s. by noon for your lunch time. by 5:00 in the lower 60s. and we'll see variable cloudiness throughout the day. showers holding off till late tonight. right now temperatures 45 in downtown. partly cloudy conditions. the winds are light so the good thing is winds have diminished compared to yesterday. we do have a frost advisory in effect. that has now only northern maryland through parts of frederick, martin burrs, -- martinsburg, hagueerstown. we do have a freeze warning in effect. this goes till 9:00. temperatures there definitely colder. so, kids, bundle up if you live in those locations as you're heading to the bus stop. otherwise mostly sunny, a chilly start. temperatures in the 30s and 40s. our sunrise at 6:55. don't forget to check out the beautiful tulips that are blooming right now. temperatures in the 40s by 8:00. 50s by noon. plenty of sun and then we'll see clouds filtering in partly to mostly cloudy conditions.

interested in the differences you noticed? >> i noticed a huge change in moisture. my skin was soft every morning i woke up. i used the bath scrub, the night serum. i used the moist rising cream that made a huge difference, especially dry areas like my feet and elbows. >> that's pretty good. it takes care of all the skin on all parts of your body. >> exactly. >> but she is young. what does that do for someone not so young? does it really work the same way? >> it does because as you get older, you lose that moisture. so being dehydrated your skins shows wrinkles. it shows fine lines, more. so you do need that moisture in your skin. that's why they're injecting people now because the skin is sort of flaccid and losing its plumpness and its texture. >> again as we wrap up our interview, the theme of women's history month is women, education, women empowerment. knowing about taking care of ourselves inside and out is

happy friday, everyone. temperatures starting out in the 30s and 40s this morning. colder north and west of town, including frederick where temperatures will be in the mid- 30s at this hour. temperatures getting only into the upper 30s in frederick and hagerstown by 9:30. upper 40s in downtown. but by noon most of us should be into the 50s and we'll see some increasing cloudiness throughout the afternoon today. we should be staying dry, though, for the day. lower 40s by 4:00 in the downtown area.
